Episode 905 - TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE: STJÖRNU SÆVAR

Today on RÚV English Radio, we talk to Iceland's Mr. Eclipse...

Sævar Helgi Bragason, or Stjörnu Sævar (https://stjornusaevar.is/about-me), is a famous Icelandic science educator and astronomer - and very likely Iceland's busiest man right now.

On the eve of the big day he tells us what an eclipse (https://eclipse2026.is/about) actually is, how beautiful they are - and why a cloudy day certainly isn't a reason to lose hope.

RÚV English Radio is heard around the world and in Iceland, celebrating Icelandic culture, art, music, language, and much more.
