Episode 884 - HJARTA ÁSBRÚAR

Today, RÚV English Radio is in Ásbrú.

Hjarta Ásbrúar (https://hjartaasbruar.com) is a new community project in Ásbrú's old theatre and cinema, Andrews Theater. The idea came from 400 children at the local Háaleitisskóli school, who worked on a vision for the neighbourhood and called for a central "heart" at Ásbrú, a place to come together and have fun. The activities are accessible to everyone and free of charge.

Manager Thelma Hrund Hermannsdóttir told Darren all about the project.
