Today on RÚV English Radio, the town festival in Hveragerði, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

Blómstrandi dagar (https://www.facebook.com/blomstrandidagar/), or "blooming days", points to the love that the town of Hveragerði has for flowers. They're at the centre of Hveragerði's annual festival, and it's a big one this year: the 30th anniversary.

But there's much more to it than that. It all kicks off officially on Thursday, but the fun actually starts tonight.
