Episode 58 - BEHIND THE SCENES AT KRAKKAFRÉTTIR

Today, RÚV English finds out about Krakkafréttir, RÚV's daily news programme for younger viewers.

Darren spoke to one of the programme's two hosts, Kolbrún María Másdóttir, and editor Karitas Mörtudóttir Bjarkadóttir, about putting together a news programme for a younger audience.

However, today's episode from RÚV English was actually prompted by listener Helen, who got in touch partly as she uses Krakkafréttir to help her learn Icelandic!

Krakkafréttir is broadcast five days a week on RÚV and can be watched here too - https://www.ruv.is/krakkaruv/renningur/krakkafrettir
