Episode 25 - NEW ICELANDER: ALEX TYAS, FROM YORKSHIRE TO ÍSAFJÖRÐUR

The thirst for knowledge took Alex Tyas from the UK to the Iceland, when eight years ago she signed up to study in the country's Westfjords. Happily, and despite a pretty disorientating flight to Ísafjörður's airport - with its interesting approach - it was love at first sight.

Today on the RÚV English Podcast, she tells Darren about her life in the Westfjords, as a New Icelander, and the many happy times she's had enjoying the area's iconic music festival Aldrei fór ég suður.
